Hello to all,
So I wanted to talk about scholarships and get the word out about how great they are and how not enough people choose to utilize them. Currently there are over THIRTY scholarships offered at IHCC. I can say it was not until my active involvement in school that I knew about all the scholarships that are offered. I recently applied for a scholarship through the MSCSA (Minnesota State College Student Association) which I am waiting to hear back about. The scholarship I applied for is the Leadership Scholarship which I learned about through my active involvement in Student Senate and is a scholarship offered through the MSCSA which I also actively participate in as nexts years regional secretary. I am still waiting to hear a response but if I receive the scholarship I will be greatly honored. So when I was applying for this scholarship I started to think about all of the scholarships offered through IHCC and how not many people know about them. I guess it is something that just isn’t talked about enough on campus so I wanted to spread the word and let everyone know about them and how many of them there are. Maybe one might not be for you but the next may be. With many varieties of scholarships offered through IHCC I am sure there is at least one that could fit your criteria. I have chosen two myself that fit my needs that I will be looking into further. I encourage all of you to take a look at the different scholarships offered at IHCC and maybe you too will decide to apply.
